Privacy policy
This notice explains what personal data Travel In Himachal collects when you use this website, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Booking details you give us: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), travel date, number of travellers, pickup and drop-off locations, and any notes.
- Security data: a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used only to stop spam and fake bookings. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.
- Anonymous visit statistics: page views counted without cookies and without identifying you.
We do not take payments online and we never ask for card or bank details on this website.
Why we use it
- To review your booking request, contact you about it, and provide the tour or cab.
- To send you updates about your booking by email, if you gave an email address.
- To protect the website from abuse.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Only our owner and authorised staff, through a secure login. Your data is stored with our service providers — Supabase (database, hosted in Mumbai, India), Cloudflare (website and security) and, if you gave an email, our email provider — who process it only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed for the trip and our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete them. Security data is deleted after a short period.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, at any time by contacting us at support@travelinhimachal.co.in or +91 78768 46613. Deleting your data may mean we can no longer provide a booked trip.
